Mage, (magia from the Dialektos Magos, is a general term to all types of spell casters that use arcane forms of spells. This general category includes Elemancers, Sorcerers, and Wizards. Those other classes use magical energy that is perhaps of the same type or comes from similar sources, the way that energy is channeled to produce effects is entirely different and therefore they are not considered a spell "caster" or mage.
